**The Energy Plus rate for new customers as of February 2012 is approximately 10% below the Standard Offer Service rates posted by BGE and Pepco and approximately 10% below the Standard Offer Service rates posted by Delmarva Power. The Energy Plus rate is variable and therefore subject to change each billing cycle. Current and historical rates should not be taken as a guarantee of future rates and Energy Plus makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding future savings. Any savings claims by Energy Plus only refer to the Standard Offer Service rates for BGE schedules R and G – Type I SOS, Delmarva Power schedules R and SGS-S – Type I SOS and Pepco schedules R and GS. If you do not know your current schedule, you can call your utility company or Energy Plus. The price from Energy Plus is for your electric generation service, and it excludes taxes, utility distribution charges, and other utility fees and charges. The Maryland Public Service Commission does not regulate electric generation service prices of electric suppliers. Our Maryland license number is IR-1805.
If you are currently on a Budget Billing plan, your monthly budget billing amount may be adjusted as a result of enrollment with Energy Plus. In addition, your utility may perform a true-up upon enrollment with Energy Plus. Depending on various factors, including season, this true-up could result in a charge, or a credit. We do not offer service to customers on Net Meters. If you are on a Net Meter and elect to enroll with Energy Plus you will no longer receive energy credits from your utility.
Energy Plus is a licensed supplier of electricity and is solely responsible for the content of this marketing material and for the selling to, solicitation of, and enrollment of customers for electricity generation services. MDAAP provides Energy Plus access to its members as a benefit for members.
