Choose the Energy Plus Green Option on your application for your electricity account, and you can make the environmentally responsible choice to cut pollution, help reduce your carbon footprint, and support renewable energy, while still receiving Cash Back.

*Bonus offer only available to new Energy Plus customers. Customers will receive a Cash Back rebate check after every 12 months of service for active accounts. Active accounts are defined as those (i) that are billing more than $0 and (ii) for which Energy Plus has not received a request on behalf of the customer to discontinue (drop) their service. The Cash Back rebate will be 5% of the annual supply portion of your electricity bill per business account and 3% per residential account. A $50 Activation Bonus check for business accounts or a $25 Activation Bonus check for residential accounts will be mailed after 2 months of active service from Energy Plus. **The Energy Plus rate for new customers can be found in the Energy Plus Disclosure Statement. This initial rate only applies to your first month of service. The Energy Plus rate is variable and therefore subject to change each billing cycle. Please see Terms of Service provided online and in your Welcome Email/Letter for complete details. Current and historical rates should not be taken as a guarantee of future rates and Energy Plus makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding future savings. Actual savings may vary based on individual usage, particularly for non-residential customers.
Energy Plus reserves the right to modify or discontinue the program. This offer cannot be combined with other offers. Offer valid for Pennsylvania residents serviced by Duquesne Light Company, Met-Ed, PECO, Penelec, PPL Electric Utilities or West Penn Power only. Please note, Energy Plus currently offers service to most customers falling within residential and small business rates classes. The eligible Duquesne Light Company rate classes are RS and GS. The eligible PPL Electric Utilities rate classes are RS, RTD, GS1/G1D, GS3, GH1, GH2 and SA. The eligible Met-Ed and Penelec rate classes are RS, RT and GS. Savings claims are based on the posted Price to Compare for Duquesne’s RS and GS rate classes, Met-Ed’s RS and GS-Small rate classes, PECO’s R and GS (<100KW) rate classes, Penelec’s RS and GS-Small rate classes, PPL’s RS and GS1/G1D rate classes and West Penn Power’s RS and GS rate classes. If you do not know your current rate class, you can call your utility company or Energy Plus. The Energy Plus online application may display a message if you happen to have an unserviceable rate class. Energy Plus cannot offer service to customers participating in Customer Assistance Programs (CAPs).
If you are currently on a Budget Billing plan, your monthly budget billing amount may be adjusted as a result of enrollment with Energy Plus. In addition, your utility may perform a true-up upon enrollment with Energy Plus. Depending on various factors, including season, this true-up could result in a charge, or a credit. Energy Plus does not currently offer budget billing in the Met-Ed, Penelec or West Penn Power service territories. We do not offer service to customers on Net Meters. If you are on a Net Meter and elect to enroll with Energy Plus you will no longer receive energy credits from your utility.
Energy Plus is a licensed supplier of electricity and is solely responsible for the content of this marketing material and for the selling to, solicitation of, and enrollment of customers for electricity generation services. PBA provides Energy Plus access to its members as a benefit for members.
