Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What do I need to do to earn Rapid Rewards® Points?
Simply select Energy Plus® as your energy supplier by completing our short enrollment form. We’ll take care of the rest.

How will I earn Rapid Rewards® Points?
There are two great ways to earn Rapid Rewards® Points.  First, you will earn a one-time bonus just for selecting Energy Plus (after 2 months of active service with us). Second, you will earn ongoing Rapid Rewards® Points on your electricity and/or natural gas usage (usage points) every month based on the supply portion of your energy bills.

When will I receive my bonus points?
After two months of active service with Energy Plus, we will send the bonus Rapid Rewards® Points you’ve earned to Southwest Airlines to be posted to your account.  Based on the timing of your billing cycle, this may be 8-12 weeks after you sign up with Energy Plus.

When will I receive my usage points?
You will begin to earn usage points after your first complete billing cycle with Energy Plus.  Based on the timing of your billing cycle, this may be 6-10 weeks after you sign up with Energy Plus.

Who is eligible for this offer?
In order to be eligible you must be a member in the Rapid Rewards® program. You must also have a service address in Energy Plus’s Maryland service area.  For electricity, this includes BGE, Delmarva Power and Pepco.  For natural gas, this includes BGE. If you are not a member in the Rapid Rewards® program, you may go to http://www.southwest.com/ to join.
