What is deregulation?
Deregulation is the process by which governments remove or reduce restrictions on a specific industry
for the purpose of encouraging innovation and efficient market operations (i.e. the creation of state of
the art generation facilities and competitive pricing options). As a result of deregulation, private
businesses called Energy Supply Companies (ESCOs) are allowed to enter market and compete for your energy dollar.

What are the benefits of choosing Energy Plus as my electric supplier?
There are several significant benefits you will receive as a customer of Energy Plus. In addition to
our industry leading service and competitive rates, you'll also no longer have to pay the sales tax on
the delivery of your electricity. This alone can represent a significant
savings compared to remaining with your utility. Moreover, you'll get choices that you simply can't get
from your regulated utility - competitive pricing plans, customer loyalty programs, and incentives just
for signing up with Energy Plus!

Is there any cost to enroll?
With Energy Plus, there is no cost to enroll and no monthly fees associated with your account. From the
moment you sign up with us you have the security of knowing that every month you will receive the lowest
rate possible with no added charges.

How will I be billed?
Because your local utility still charges for the delivery of electricity, they will continue to read your
meter and send you a bill for their services as well as the supply provided by Energy Plus. As such, you will
only receive and pay one "consolidated" bill.

Can I cancel at any time?
Of course! At Energy Plus we are confident in the services we provide and the rate we charge you. If you feel
as if you could be better served by another supplier, please contact us and voice your concern. After having
spoken with us, if nothing can be done you are free to switch your supplier at no cost to you.

Who do I call if there is a problem with my service?
No matter who supplies it, your electricity will continue to be delivered safely and reliably by your local utility.
